Numerical Advantage – Book

From the project ’52 Books’ which is an ongoing project

Book four in the series is a play around the idea of page orientation, in this case two sets of diagonal pages each moving away from each other. I also wanted to heighten the importance of the page numbers, something that is often overlooked or hidden until a book is opened.

There is something intriguing to me about being able to see each page before opening the book, to see the page numbers and how their placement effects the overall design of the book.

The book is bound with a simple clamp and the numbers are white transfers, meaning that there was no print process involved.
